Sagacity of SS

The third bell has rang, marking the end of the second period.  The not so arduous task before Yaman was to complete the history homework, which was supposed to be checked by sa-DON sir.

Yaman was a blunt hedonist motivated by impetuous desires, a charlatan and worse an ignoramus in his school days, who happens to be a self-critic now and is trying to undue his anxiety.

The fourth bell has rang, and it was sa-DON sir's class then. Yam had completed the homework working in tandem with his friends. SS entered the class within two minutes delay and sat on the chair which he had put in front of the desk.

"I hope you all have done your homework. I will check your copies  randomly." informed SS. He stood up and approached towards Yam. He snatched at his homework, devoured it as quickly as possible, and then, looking around for more prey, darted across the aisle to his classmates desk. He made a few boys stand up for the whole of his period who had not done their homework.

SS then moved on to the girls side to check the copy of a girl named Sohini . Sohini was a tenuous looking girl, but an epitome of elegance. She was second to none in the class and a personification  of Beauty. Anyone who happens to be her friend was enamored with the delicacy of her beautiful wisdom.

SS showed her copy to the class as the quintessential anwer and highly extolled her for her beautiful handwriting. Someone was hiding behind Sohini's back, he noticed. That was Anushika, a loquacious chubby girl and the unofficial sister of Yaman in the class.

"Show me your homework," asked SS. Anushika with a feeble voice replied, "Sir I did my homework, but forgot it at my home".

 "How can I believe that you really have done, and forgot it to bring in the school?" said SS in a loud voice.

Anushika started crying at this and with water trickling out of her eyes and pointing towards her friend's copy, she replied "Sir I did the homework in this type of copy only, but forgot to bring it in the class".

Anu's lie was no ambiguous to SS, he reckoned she was lying and so he asked her to come with him to Anu's house to take her copy. Anu was astonished, she was caught red handed. She new if they went to her home, they will find nothing and also her parents will get to know about her lie. She accepted her fault. SS was also happy that she admitted. Meanwhile, all the other students were enjoying as the time was passing on. SS assuaged Anu, and asked her to open the book, and started his class.

This story aimed to highlight how notorious Yaman's sister was during her school days, who has gone an unconscionable 

change. She  is a. strong self reliant girl now, who aspires to be a fashion designer in future. 

 I should have wrote this on Raksha Bandhan my dear sister. But the idea came late, I am sorry. 

We all have lied to our teachers during school days and often got caught, but the reminiscent of those memories often puts up a smile on our face. So cherish those moments and live your life to the fullest.
